The league itself features a more North American style type of hockey as opposed to a European style, and is predominantly filled with American and Canadian players, as well as homegrown British players and guys from around Europe. It’s easy to see the attraction: you can travel to the other side of the world, experience different lifestyles and cultures while playing the game that you love and picking up a wage. Moping Monday

Today has been a drag horrible day. Woke with a bit of a headache that has persisted all day.
Work was horrible – people shouting at me to vent their frustrations about our clients, as well as a p.c. that takes forever and ever to do anything.
Breakfast today was an avocado with pink salt, junk (biscuits!) in work for “lunch” and apple slices with honey to dip in for snack.
3 chicken nuggets when at mums & now I’m going to make some bacon n sausages for dinner with either pancakes or a salad. Maybe even both.

Big surprise this week is that I lost 2 lb even though I was unable unorganised enough to continue the 7lb juice diet. I’m need to sort out the house 1st as it’s soo cluttered I can’t think properly.

Once that’s sorted I can then concentrate on a dedicated diet that needs time to prepare and wash the equipment – this sounds a bit strange I know, but my sleep is out of whack and I’m not getting up early enough to make the juices never mind do exercise,  and part of that is because I’m overwhelmed by the extent of clutter. So priority has changed for a week or 2 til I’m sorted.

I am keeping note of my calories just now tho and aiming for 1500 a day. I think this might still be too many but it will be a lot less than what I have been used to for ages.

This was yesterday’s,  which was a good day of ice skating with son n nephew who’s 2 and loved being on the ice. Son fell a few times but was ok and gaining confidence every week 🙂

it’s been a weird day

Today has not been too good at all.

we didnt get up with the alarm, i didnt make any juices, son starts his homework as im ready to leave the house, ended with us leaving at 9.05, instead of 08.40 (at the latest to get us their just.on.time.). In the end up he was in tears, i was shouting, he is grounded, with no staying at his other grans and no hockey on saturday night.

I feel like crap. i barely ever  shout like that, but he has had this homework for over 2 weeks now, i’ve continually told him to do it. its for a teacher he doesnt like so i understand that he doesnt want the memories of her encrouching his holiday/time off from school, but to pull it out at twenty minutes to 9 was disrespectful for himself, to me and to his school. He cried the whole way to school. when we got theirwe stood int he car park for a good ten minutes just huggng and trying to get his tears to stop. I have told him he car earn back going to stay at his grans and we will see about the hockey.

As i said, i made no juices this morning. Used to not be much of an issue as we had a Zume Juice bar in town, but new owners of the mall have made all the “stall” type shops move into actual shops and Zumo moved to Glasgow instead. So today i drank a bit of water, ate some german meatballs i had to use up and had some frozen kefir. was nice not to over powering of flavour and hit the spot til i get home and make a juice for my dinner.

Oh, hold on! I can see a .1kg increase 😦

It could be as its time of the month. or could be because i didnt do much exercise.

Kick Off.

I’m soo fat that i can eat my cheeks. Actually on the inside my teeth bite my cheeks without even meaning to. Its horrible. I used to laugh at them and call them my hamster cheeks, but really, it is no laughing matter.

My knees hurt, a lot. Going to the gym is out of the question for me just now, I’d do some serious damage if i was to go back and attempt what i could do a few months ago.

So i am doing the 7lb in 7 days juice detox/diet/plan to help me loose some of this quickly, to take the pressure off my joints, and make it easier for me to then go back and start slowly.

We are starting back swimming once a week as well as ice skating on Sundays, plus my daily walks, so exercise is being done, just not as much, as hard or as often as i would like. But i’ve got to start somewhere!

Today is Day 1 of the diet.

I made 2 turbo express and 2 super juice. topped up the 2 super juice with coconut water.

I even woke up early this morning! But still didnt have time to make the 4 drinks, (2 are the same) so i made 2 of two types. Today i am out from 9 am til around 11pm (work and Ice Hockey.) So its not the best day to start, but no putting off til tomorrow waht you can start today!

midday was a super juice (blue sistema flask/shake and go bottle)

Around 11 am i was feeling very tired, I work on a pc and i feel it draines me something awful. i perked up after my walk to morrisons at lunch time. I was at morrisons for some beetroot, but they didnt have any 😦 and i picked up chocolate and juice for at the Clan game for the kids. £6.88 spent and i got 2 punnets of yellow cherry tomatoes for 49p each! some avocados as well. I figured as i will be missing 2 drinks tonight i could eat the tomatoes instead , if i felt i needed more than just water. Ithink the banana would be too much at that time of the night.

Its now 15.45 and im starting to get hungry.

New ME

Only a month late, but here is my ‘resolutions’ for this year.

  • complete Tough Mudder 2015 Scotland
  • get to nine stone something (1/11lb doesnt matter as long as its starts 9 stone)
  • go camping
  • redecorate the house
  • in order to redecorate i need to clear out. every room
  • have sons room redone by April
  • actievly engage with friends – i am terrible for being a hermit.

There you go. nothing out of the ordinary, nothing far too hard, but a lot of time and effort is required.
